The time had come to put herself out there to Boaz. Were her intentions inappropriate or appropriate? Was she trying to seduce Boaz or show her willingness to sacrifice for him? This whole plan relied on knowing the character of Boaz and Boaz having full understanding of the character of Ruth. It was full of danger and risk, but the potential blessing was worth the sacrifice.
