Worthy of Momentum

I know I’ve been MIA as ministry opportunities in the job front have taken a lot out of me. But, I’m back and ready to speak to you all about what God is teaching me about momentum.

I’m so guilty of making up my mind to move in a direction. Out of the gate my heart screams with the intensity to run after what God has laid on my heart with everything in me; yet, my feet take on the pace of a snail. Or, the momentum is short-lived.

I laugh as I step on the scale expecting to see dramatic results on day one of a diet; yet, that’s how I expect my relationship with Christ to roll. Here’s the beauty of God, He doesn’t ever force me into the movement that creates momentum. However, He always provides the footing once I step out, every time – each step.
