Devotion: love, loyalty, enthusiasm for a person

Did you know that God is already devoted to YOU! Today, I sit and write to you looking (and feeling) like a hot mess, yet also feeling God’s enthusiasm, His devotion in my soul.

Because we are worthy of receiving this devotion (and He longs to give it to us), we also become worthy of giving such devotion.

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength” (Mark 12:30) This sounds like a tall order to fill and some serious devotion! Like trying to lift 500 pounds right out-of-the-gate, it can seem like an impossible task.
